Integrating 3D Art & Action Photography

The goal of this project was to transition a teenager’s bedroom into a curated "pro-am" sanctuary. Rather than using generic decor, we focused on authentic storytelling—celebrating the client’s personal athletic journey while integrating his passion for Formula 1 through innovative, 3D architectural displays.

To bring the client’s character into the soft furnishings, we moved away from standard patterns. We designed custom scatter cushions featuring high-definition, stylised photography of the client in action. These serve as functional trophies, grounding the room in his personal identity and achievements.

We elevated the Formula 1 theme. Instead of traditional posters, we utilized 3D Lego Technic models mounted directly to the wall. This created a sense of depth and movement, turning a hobby into a sophisticated, sculptural installation that reflects the technicality of the sport.

The room utilizes a mix of industrial textures (mimicking asphalt and carbon fiber) and soft, high-quality linens to balance the "hard" elements of the racing theme with the comfort required for a bedroom.

By integrating personal sports and modular 3D art, the design avoids the "themed room" cliché. Instead, it creates a mature, evolved space that is uniquely his—a room that celebrates where he’s been on the field and where he dreams of being on the track.
